| In 1966 the decease of Th. J. Reichgelt caused a stagnation in the regular publication of acquisitions to the adventitious flora of the Netherlands. Only VAN OOSTSTROOM (1970a and b), ADEMA (1974), and VAN DER MEIJDEN (1975) incidentally continued this series. From 1975 onward the acquisitions to the adventitious flora of the Netherlands — and the new escapes from cultivation — are published in the annual lists with records of rare species. The present publication has the purpose of filling up the gap between 1967 and 1974 and includes: A. Native taxa — a few infraspecific taxa new for the Netherlands; B. Adventitious species; C. Species escaped from cultivation. In the lists B and C the original area of the species has been added. |

| A comparative test of various inert diets was performed on 9 batches of 150 one month old soles, wheighing an average 42 mg, and feeding on live brine shrimps. It lasted for 2 months, in 60 l square tanks, with sand bottoms. . A succession of frozen natural feed, ending with the Bivalve Laevioardium arassum, was compared to 2 different artificial diets, offered as dry pellets. The inurement to the pellets was facilitated by an incorporation of various meals, used as flavourings, during a 6 weeks transitory period. - At the end of the experiment, the best result, 98 % survival, average weight . 1.10 g, was obtained with the natural feed. The best flavourings for dry pellets were Laevi- cardium arassum and the Polyahaete Nephthus hombergii, with 70 %... |

Die in der Literatur bisher als Acicula lineata angesehene Art wird als Acicula (A.) lineolata (Pini, 1884) bezeichnet. Mit dieser Arbeit werden Typen festgelegt von: Bulimus lineatus Draparnaud, 1801 (Lectotypus), Acme locardi Locard, 1894 (Lectotypus), Acme lineata var. lineolata Pini, 1884 (Neotypus) und Acme lineata var. transitoria Pini, 1884 (Neotypus). |

| A absorção de macronutrientes e de silício e o acúmulo de matéria seca em três estádios de desenvolvimento de dois híbridos simples de milho, cultivados em duas densidades de população, foram estudados no presente trabalho. Verificou-se que o híbrido HS 1227 apresentou concentrações mais elevadas de fósforo, potássio e silício do que o HS 7777. Observou-se também que as concentrações dos elementos tornaram-se mais baixas em função da idade das plantas. O híbrido HS 7777 absorveu maiores quantidades de cálcio, e no espaçamento menor, para os dois cultivares, a extração de nutrientes foi maior. | The determination of Mediterranean Salmonidae has been possible because of morphological and morphometrical studies and immunological and biochemical methods. It is evident that the 'sea trouts' belong to the species S. trutta fario and S. gairdneri irideus. These trouts have been acclimatized naturally to marine life. Experimental tests were undertaken in the laboratory, then in natural medium, to study the possibilities of trout acclimatization in sea water. They have confirmed the great adaptation qualities of these fishes to often extreme conditions. | Since the publication of my paper on birds from Formosa (Mees, 1970), a few more collections have been received from the same source. A ban has now been placed on hunting and export of wild birds by the government of the Republic of China — an enlightened and overdue piece of legislation — with the result that the connection has come to an end and no more material is to be expected from Formosa. Although the later collections do not contain anything spectacular, a few records merit publication and for the reason stated this is a good moment for doing so. | A widening range of rural adjustment assistance measures is being utilised, thereby increasing the range of government organisations involved. In choosing between these measures additional government and non-government research is required, with proposed policies accounting for the division of responsibility for assistance that exists between government organisations. There is also a need for greater policy co-ordination between these organisations, and a proposal for the establishment of a N.S.W. Rural Adjustment Advisory Council is outlined. |

| O presente trabalho foi conduzido com a finalidade de se avaliar o efeito da aplicação foliar no nitrogênio em mudas de café (Coffea arabica L, var. Mundo Nôvo). Para isso, três fontes de fertilizantes nitrogenados - NaNO3, (NH4)2SO4 e (NH2)2CO - enriquecidos com 0,7, 0,6 e 0,4% de átomos de 15N em excesso, respectivamente, foram utilizados, aplicando-as de vários modos: 1) aplicação da dose total de cada fonte de nitrogênio ao solo; 2) aplicação da dose total de cada fonte exclusivamente foliar e 3) aplicação da metade desta dose total ao solo e da outra metade por via foliar, além das correspondentes testemunhas. | The significance of statistical lack-of-fit tests for hypothesized response functions describing experimental data is traced in some of the recent agricultural economics literature. The statistical test is reviewed in a regression framework and it is shown that the test is related to testing that some of the coefficients in a linear regression model have zero values. Comments are made on the relationship between the lack-of-fit test and the coefficient of determination. |
